Top Systems Releases T-FLEX Parametric CAD 9 Solid Modeler

Top Systems, a leading provider of parametric design solutions, today announced the availability of T-FLEX Parametric CAD 9, the newest version of its flagship software. The program continues to deliver advanced tools for parametric 3D modeling and 2D design of complex products. T-FLEX Parametric CAD 9 includes more than 200 customer-requested features and enhancements that help designers become faster, more accurate, and more productive as they bring their innovations to market.

New mating technology supports complex assemblies that can include both individual parts and other assemblies with predefined internal mates. User can move components within their degrees of freedom, considering real material properties, visualizing the assembly's behavior. Built-in Express Analysis helps improve product quality by indicating how T-FLEX models will behave before they are built. This easy-to-use first pass stress analysis tool is specifically tailored for designers and engineers, who are not specialists in design validation. The extended set of surface commands provides tools for modifying surfaces and various local operations on faces in a surface or solid body. Enhanced body tapering tools and geometry analysis features simplify mold design. Components with adaptive geometry not only improve parametric assemblies’ functionality but also optimize individual part modeling. New advanced options were added to many existing operations: Boolean, patterning, blending, sheet metal, geometry exchange and others.

Top Systems Releases T-FLEX Parametric CAD 9 Solid Modeler

T-FLEX 9 is shipped together with a completely new API based on .NET technology, offering developers almost any possibility for managing T-FLEX documents and developing applications running in T-FLEX Parametric CAD environment. With introduction of this API, T-FLEX CAD emerges as an open-end platform for developing applications getting all benefits of this parametrical modeling system.

Commenting on the release of T-FLEX Parametric CAD 9, Vitaliy Taldykin, director of sales and marketing, said, "It’s great to see the groundbreaking capabilities our development team could deliver in this new release. We are proud of release 9 and believe we have really raised the bar in the area of advanced design. Our ongoing efforts to help design engineers resolve the most complex design problems have confirmed T-FLEX not only as a general-purpose modeling and drafting tool, but as unparalleled solver of uncommon tasks.”
