Datakit to Launch CATIA V5 to SolidWorks Translator

For the last few months, Datakit has been working on a solution that will enable SolidWorks users to import and use all the information linked to CATIA V5 assembly trees and features. In other words, this will include not only information on geometrical construction, but also data enabling machining operations on V5 parts and assemblies. Unveiled in France at the SolidWorks user group meeting, the interface has been rigorously tested and the official worldwide launch is planned for January 22 in Las Vegas at SolidWorks World 2006.
