16th Annual PTC/USER World Event Draws Record Attendance

Austria's FACC Buys FiberSIM 5.0 for Boeing 787 Program

Autodesk launches Autodesk 2006

Autodesk has just released the 20th version of AutoCAD. Called AutoCAD 2006 the launch also sees Autodesk unleash revisions to all of its major applications in all vertical areas – MCAD, AEC, GIS and Civil Engineering. There are more than 25 product updates, some based on the new AutoCAD core, others, like Inventor, Viz and Revit have also been ‘revved’ for what will now become Autodesk’s annual product release date. There have been many productivity improvements, together with increased performance and efficiency, with Autodesk claiming as much as 38% improvement over previously available solutions.
