ANSYS Reports Record Q4 Revenue $85M, FY06 Revenue $263.6MANSYS, Inc. Diesel Land Speed Record-Breaking Car Uses ANSYS TechnologyANSYS, Inc., a global innovator of simulation software and technologies designed to optimize product development processes, today announced that a British-designed car has employed its FLUENT(R) computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software package to engineer the vehicle's aerodynamics totally without any wind tunnel testing. The JCB DIESELMAX car achieved over 350mph (563kph) to break the world land speed record for diesel-powered cars for the second time in a week on August 23, 2006 at the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, a record that had been standing for more than 30 years.
