CompMechLab in the frameworks of collaboration with Forschungscentrum Juelich, Institut für Plasmaphysik, performs modelling and structural analysis of a new W-LBSRP block of the JET (Joint European Torus) Tokamak divertor under electromagnetic loading. CompMechLab engineers are working in this project both in Germany (Forschungscentrum Juelich) and in Russia.
Main goal of the maulti-variant FE analysis is search of new design solutions for the ITER project (ITER – International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor).
